How do you move forward when illness &/or disability becomes your new reality?
You never planned on getting sick or experiencing disability. No one gave you a blueprint to navigate the life you are now living. A new diagnosis, sudden trauma, or gradual onset of a life with imposed limits can make you feel isolated, overwhelmed, and clueless as to how to manage it all. The journey isn’t easy, and it takes tremendous courage to allow your suffering, show self-compassion for yourself, and take steps to move forward and recover a life.
You are not alone navigating your journey
Whether you have been living with chronic illness &/or disability for several days, months, or years, you are not alone. My name is Liz. I am trained as a certified clinical rehabilitation counselor & psychotherapist and I can help you navigate your new reality. Not only have I helped people like you navigate through chronic illness and disability, I've navigated through it myself since 2006.
I am passionate about coming alongside others to recover a satisfying
& meaningful life in the midst of their illness and disability.
